First, let’s start things off with some sounds, brought to my ear by good ol’ Bruce Almighty:

The previous week could’ve been a lot better, for the most part. Let’s examine the evidence: there’s the Geometry homework that made my stay up ’til 12MN (and I only got half the homework done that night, mind you), there’s the Chemistry long test that I wasn’t able to finish, courtesy of that near-impossible problem-solving question (well, that’s six points down the drain), there’s the looming threat of numerous projects, long tests, and of course, the perio, there’s the obligatory Chinese on Saturday, and there are more, er–personal–reasons too. But one thing prevented this week from becoming a bleak week (ooh, a rhyme!): the Jasmin 2010 Acquaintance Party.

So here’s the lowdown: After school on Friday, we went to Borgy’s house, and basically fooled around until 10:30 PM. That would do for a brief summary–however, it would not capture some of the best parts of the party: the crapload of free food all the parents chipped in to provide (including caramel bars from Max’s! LOLZ!), the fact that Marco brought playing cards with him (my ranking out of five rounds of pusoy dos: 1,1,2,1,2=WIN), the presence of a Wii (which partially resulted in very few people leaving the room in which the Wii was situated), the presence of a karaoke machine (all the girls were spoilsports, though–none of them dared to sing), and the part where we had to dance (which was an excellent opportunity for me to practice my concealment skills), tons of gayness (in case you don’t know yet, a huge chunk of the Jasmin guys loves acting gay–well at least I think it’s acting) and last but not least, good old-fashioned hanging out with the rest of the class in which I belong, and whose company I enjoy (seriously, almost everyone hangs out with everyone else, at one point or another).

So, now that I give it a little more thought, I guess this week wasn’t so bad–after all, it led to the Acquaintance Party, right?

Check the pages every month or so (Egos, Fiction, Musings, Origins), I usually add stuff little by little (with the possible exception of Fiction, which really depends). Oh, and credits to Joaq for the header image.
