Teachers, please don’t kill me. And no, I didn’t base this on The Classroom (only hearing about it after I had finished writing these rules). Also, I don’t mean for these to be really used–entertainment-only (though I don’t know who’d be entertained by these other than me).

1. The objective of the game is to devise the most effective system of cheating (over a long period of time, such as a quarter or a year), based on the score students achieve on tests by using a particular system.

2. Participants can be individuals or groups (these can change to some degree: as long as the groups keep the same scoreboard name and the individuals are willing to lose their previous scoreboard standings.

3. The students must not be caught by any teacher. If a student is caught, he/she must not divulge the secret of the game to any teachers whatsoever, at any cost, and he/she is banned from playing (the teacher will find out more easily).

4. Scoreboards must be kept to determine the best cheaters for each subject (and each major test for that subject, quizzes and such are considered preliminaries for new members). Subject scoreboards must be updated with each major test.

5. No outside assistance is allowed, students must rely solely on their own ingenuity. Any student/s caught seeking assistance from a third party (one not student-based) will be made a mere observer, unable to join or tell a teacher.

6. Students that do not know about the game can be told of its existence, provided that they swear not to tell any teachers about it, whether they join the game or not. A student can join the game if he/she cheats in a quiz (or any other minor requirement) and gets a certain grade (decided by the other students).

7. The student/s who place first on the greatest number of tests must be acknowledged as the greatest cheaters of that time period, and special privileges must be given accordingly. Their system is recorded, then banned from being used by other students for all succeeding years.

8. There must be a group of students that serve as facilitators for the game: one to maintain the scoreboards, one in charge of banned students, one in charge of cheating records and archives, one to check whether the rules have been broken by a student or not, and one to serve as overall leader and final authority regarding any matter pertaining to the game.

9. Any number of categories can be created (least number of times called to attention by a teacher, most creative method of cheating, solo cheaters, best cheaters for a specific subject), with corresponding awards, but these are lesser in priority to the best overall cheaters award.

10. These rules will serve as the basic rules of ‘The Game’, as it will be called from now on: more rules can be added, but these rules cannot be changed unless popular vote is in favour of changing them.
